Scholarships
The Tiger Legacy Foundation has established two scholarship awards. Both awards focus on supporting Lewis & Clark graduating seniors who have engaged in activities that have lifted up others, or have been of service to their school and/or the wider community.
The Tiger Legacy Foundation Building Community/Humanitarian Scholarship Award is a $5,000 award granted each year to a graduating senior who has demonstrated meaningful efforts to build community within the Lewis & Clark High School, or has engaged in service activities in the wider community during their high school years. The Noel Rademacher-Homer Memorial Scholarship is a $10,000 award granted each year to recognize a young woman graduating from Lewis & Clark High School who has not only persevered through her own challenges, but has also reached out to serve, support, or advocate for others in a meaningful way. To nominate a person for either of these two scholarship awards, please use the form below. Since each scholarship award has slightly different criteria and requirements, please download the more complete award descriptions (see above) and follow the form instructions related to the scholarship being applied for. Acknowledgement of receipt of an application will generally occur within 48 hours after submission. Information contained in the application will remain confidential with access provided only to those persons directly engaged in selecting the award recipients. As part of the selection process, there may be some need for follow-up clarifications and/or interviews. As per IRS regulations, award recipients will be required to provide documentation of how their award has been utilized. Award recipients will also be asked if some aspects of their situation, with their permission, may be shared in Tiger Legacy Foundation publications.
Scholarship Award Nomination/Application Form & Instructions
Tiger Legacy Foundation Building Community/Humanitarian Award Instructions:
1. The form must be completed and submitted by a person other than the person being nominated.
2. The field related to overcoming a personal hardship need not be answered.
Noel Rademacher-Homer Scholarship Award Instructions:
1. This award is designated for a female recipient only.
2. Applicants for this award can self-nominate.
3. The field related to overcoming a personal hardship must be answered.
